Business Development Executive Full Time

Our client has currently has an exciting opportunity in our New York office for an ambitious Business Development Executive looking to join a world leader in market intelligence. This is a great opportunity to tap into a vibrant, open market to bring in new business with support from our team.

This is an excellent opportunity with unlimited earning potential for a driven, tenacious, intelligent, articulate, ambitious and intuitive Business Development Executive who enjoys the fast-paced nature of Sales and is looking to establish a career in a global business intelligence brand with fantastic career development opportunities.

In this role you will be:

  • Building strong product and market understanding in order to identify new business opportunities for a range of products including high value subscriptions, consulting projects and marketing services
  • Developing and using your understanding of our product and service propositions, our competitors and our clients’ needs to build a robust pipeline
  • Hunting and closing sales opportunities by networking, partnering with marketing, building your own relationships, establishing needs, conducting online demonstrations, developing proposals and closing deals.
  • Aiming to exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B, solution sales
  • Consultative sales experience would be an advantage
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skill
  • Proven success in a sales role dealing with senior management in multi-national companies would be an advantage
  • Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
  • The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
  • Key attributes to success include being goal driven, relationship focused and strategic thinker, strong business acumen, inquisitive and highly competitive
