Revenue Control Manager Full Time

Our New Jersey based client is looking to add a Revenue Manager to their growing team. This person will be a highly analytical person with strong system skills and possess the ability to work with management and other cross functional partners to ensure successful revenue control management and reporting




  • Supervise revenue control staff members who work with case teams to ensure timely and accurate preparation of bills
  • Coordinate with case workers regarding responsibility of revenue control staff
  • Set goals and initiatives for the revenue coordinators to manage billing work in progress (WIP) of US practices. Support US case teams with monitoring work in progress/backlog reports and with pointing out possible under or over billing
  • Make sure WIP expenses and time entries in Elite are in Connect by analyzing WIP reports and working with IT to understand proper interface processes between the two systems
  • Work closely with Invoice Delivery and Collections team to tackle issues relating to incorrect processes regarding invoice creation
  • Work closely with controlling team to establish revenue control processes, ensure revenue recognition policies and internal controls are maintained and followed
  • Coordinate with Accounting team to perform write off WIP items in Elite and Connect
  • Create necessary and effective revenue control reports and related management reports for practices and Finance
  • Participate in the monthly close process; coordinate with other teams to ensure timely recording of transactions and the completeness and accuracy of revenue billing report
  • Institutionalize quality focus on all activities, continuous improvement and process improvement ideas and projects
  • Initiate and/or manage projects that involve operational effectiveness/efficiency relating to case initiation and invoice creation




  • BS in Finance or Business or Supply Chain
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems (preferably Elite 3E) and Excel
  • Strong BI tool usage (Tableau or Microsoft Power BI) is an advantage
  • Enjoy building structure around loosely defined projects and establishing a sense of ownership to see projects through to completion
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy
  • A resourceful problem solver when resources are scarce, and information is incomplete
  • Strong understanding of process and operations in a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong quantitative analysis skillset, with the ability to analyze high volume data, interpret and explain complex financial data.
  • Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to partner productively in cross-functional capacity
