Russell Tobin Announces Further Expansion Out West to Denver with Strong Technology Recruiting Focus Led by Nick Branholm
Russell Tobin—a division of Pride Global, one of the nation’s leading integrated human capital solutions and advisory firms—announces further expansion out west with the opening of an office in Denver, CO, under the direction of Nick Branholm, the firm’s Manager of Technology Recruitment. The new market will focus on recruiting technology professionals in addition to building and nurturing current relationships with growth stage clients.
Branholm comes to Russell Tobin with five years of technical recruiting experience—most recently, he held the title of Director at a national technology recruiting company. In this position, he led a team that focused on placing software engineers, data engineers, and security engineers at hyper-growth technology and media companies in New York City. Branholm consistently ran a high-octane team and was the top-producing member company-wide in 2017 and 2018.
Before moving to Denver, Branholm lived in Brooklyn, NY, and worked at Russell Tobin’s New York City headquarters alongside Associate Director of Technology Recruitment, Alicia Scully, and team.
“Branholm sets himself apart as a recruiting leader through his deep understanding of the technology market and his creativity both in connecting people with fulfilling jobs and developing hiring solutions,” Scully says of Branholm. “I cannot imagine anyone better suited to build our technology presence in Denver and have a great time while doing it!”
While the brand has historically focused its technology recruitment efforts in New York City and San Francisco, it has recognized emerging markets for tech talent and is prioritizing the practice in 2019 which has led to the decision of expanding the business to Colorado.
“Branholm’s tailored-service approach and overall demeanor was the main reason we felt compelled to introduce RTA to Denver,” Co-Founder Tim Tobin says. “It’s always been about the individuals representing our brand and the people we serve, so we’re eager to have his knowledge and ambition delivering results which will undoubtedly enhance Denver’s workforce while providing value to its communities.”
While Branholm will continue to support his relationships in the New York market, his primary focus will be building a technology presence in the local Denver technology ecosystem. Ben Jaksich—leader of the growth stage recruitment team in New York—weighs in on the expansion: “Denver is one of the most attractive locations for growth stage businesses nowadays as it provides an exceptional lifestyle, world-class food, and easy access to other parts of the country,” he says. “We are excited for Branholm to be joining and leading our efforts into this part of the region and look forward to working closely with the Denver business community to attract more professionals to this fantastic city.”
Denver will be Russell Tobin’s fifteenth global office and will serve as a natural complement to our existing clientele and company offerings.
