Russell Tobin Announces U.K. Expansion into Scotland with Strategic Hire, Lee-Ann Falconer

Russell Tobin—a division of Pride Global, one of America’s leading integrated human capital solutions and advisory firms—announced the expansion of its U.K. presence by opening an office in Scotland under the direction of Lee-Ann Falconer. The new branch will support roles across all levels for its Scotland-based clients seeking recruitment solutions in Technology, Accountancy and Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Creative Services, Engineering, Banking Operations, and Administration.

“Our focus continues to be on the human element of Human Capital Management as the success or failure of our efforts is solely predicated on us having the right people representing our brand,” says Tim Tobin, Russell Tobin’s Managing Director. “Having an ambitious professional like Falconer coupled with an advanced and thriving country like Scotland is an intersection of talent and opportunity—she’s a natural extension of our growing efforts with an expertise in the local market she’s leading.”

Falconer comes to Russell Tobin with a wealth of experience, specifically in business and relationship development, operations, leadership, and talent acquisition. While she’s stationed in Edinburgh, Falconer believes that now is the ideal time to expand into the Scottish market—it has an excellent variety of diverse job opportunities across a broad range of thriving industries and emerging sectors. The country is also well known for its pool of exceptional talent from an international standpoint.

“I have been incredibly fortunate to have met and partnered with truly great clients and candidates over the years,” Falconer says. “More than many have become close professional friends, and the initial support has been fantastic. I look forward to continuing to work with existing clients and to forging new candidate and client relationships across Scotland through Russell Tobin’s expansion.”

Damian Byrne, Director of U.K. Operation of Russell Tobin Europe, weighs in on Falconer’s arrival and the brand’s new U.K. presence: “The opening of the Scotland office is an indication of the growing reputation and success of Russell Tobin in the U.K. and Europe as a whole. With leaders like Falconer at the helm of the brand’s new offices and territories, Russell Tobin’s continued success is assured,” says Byrne. “We’re excited and expect this expansion to continue into mainland Europe over the next 12 to 18 months.”

With Russell Tobin’s headquarters located in the heart of New York City in the United States, expansion into Scotland will only continue to further the organization’s global footprint as it continues to grow internationally.

“Scotland is an incredibly welcoming, inclusive, and progressive country and has a strong reputation globally for embracing and supporting new business operations,” Falconer says. “I have no doubt Russell Tobin will receive a warm Scottish welcome.”
